Here is a beautiful patchwork ticker tape quilt made from cotton fabric scraps. Would look nice to use on the end of a single bed, used as a chair throw, a lap quilt, or to drape over the back of the sofa. The colour is like the first two photos. This is a unique piece of needlework and one of a kind, no two are ever the same due to the random nature of the pieces used. Ticker tape quilts are randomly sewn pieces of fabric with the raw edges visible so it gives you a unique look. For the back of this quilt I have used upcycled vintage floral cotton fabric and for the top I have used vintage candy striped cotton fabric. Edged with cream bias binding. Polyester wadding. All machine sewn. The size is 34″ x 40.5″ It is 100% cotton. The colours are predominantly varying shades of green and yellow. machine washable on a warm wash. Line dry or warm tumble dry. After washing it you will need to carefully trim off the excess thread as it frays, this is quite normal, in fact the more it frays the prettier it looks. The polyester wadding is machine washable at 30 degrees, and also it is hypo-allergenic. It conforms to the furniture and furnishings fire and safety regulations 1988, and to British standards BS5852. This quilt has been fully laundered, nicely frayed and ready to use.
