Description

This basket is made from a premium recycled thick braided cord decorated with a friendly lion’s face. It would be perfect for storing small toys in a child’s room, or used elsewhere in the house as a fun way to display a houseplant. It is hand crocheted by me, using a decorative stitch that looks like knitting. The way this stitch is worked makes the side of the basket very sturdy. The mane is crocheted onto the basket and the facial features are hand embroidered using a mercerised cotton yarn, The eyes are domed plastic buttons, hand sewn on using extra strong cotton thread. The basket measures approximately 17cm in diameter,12cm in height. Please note that this is a decorative item, it is not a toy. The eyes and ears are securely sewn on but due to their size they are a choking hazard. I recommend surface clean only with a damp cloth to keep the item dust free. The basket may be gently washed by hand in warm water. Do not soak, do not tumble dry, do not iron. Mould into shape whilst damp.
