Basket with lid – jewellery or hair accessories

Here is a basket with a lid, I don’t make them often, as a lid is just a basket upside down, so takes just as long to make! However, this coiled fabric basket in taffeta is just perfect for keeping small things tidy and out of site. What a lovely gift for a teenager going to uni – add all those sewing necessities for a useful away-from-home mending kit, or fill with something thoughtful for a new mum or as a special gift for a friend. In your own home, use to tidy jewellery or hair accessories,or bathroom accessories, perhaps – or in a hallway for keys and wallets. The base measures approximately 19.5 x 7cms and 16.5cms high with the lid. I can also make baskets in your own fabrics – just contact me to discuss. Several of my baskets are currently available at sale prices to make way for more stock! Please note, I use recycled wrappings when possible/available but happy to send in new wrappings if for a gift. Just let me know when ordering.
